Man reaching up to God (Psalms 42, 88 and 121 : 2; Matt. 6 : 9 - 13)

God reaching down to man through Jesus/Yeshua ( = Salvation in Hebrew)
the Lamb of God (Isaiah 53; John 1 : 29)

= Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum (Latin inscription, nailed onto the cross)
= Jesus of Nazareth King of the Jews

who shed His blood ... and died - hanging head with crown of thorns -

The whole Bible was written by Jews (with possibly the exception of the author Luke),

the first Church was Jewish, Jesus was Jewish and He will return to Jerusalem to rule as the Prince of Peace!

If you do not know Him and are seeking for the meaning of life, challenge God to reveal Himself to you. Why not set yourself the task of reading Isaiah 53 as well as the Gospels of Matthew and John? And before you read, pray. Perhaps you could say something like this:

"Oh God, I am an honest seeker after truth. My mind is open - I am willing to believe. Please show me if Jesus is your Son, the Messiah of Israel and the Saviour of the World whose blood cleanses from all sin. If you bring conviction to my mind, I promise that I will accept Him as my Saviour, my Atonement, and follow Him as my Lord. Amen."

God promises: "All who call on the Name of the Lord shall be saved." (Acts 2:21)
